MakiMoto Serves Up Hastings Street Outlet
Expanding Japanese gourmet restaurant operator MakiMoto is opening its first Sunshine Coast outlet on the famous Hastings Street tourist strip at Noosa Heads after leasing a commercial retail outlet through Ray White Commercial Noosa & Sunshine Coast North.
MakiMoto has secured a 225 sqm tenancy at Lot 6, 32 Hastings St, Noosa Heads, in a deal negotiated by John Petralia and Paul Butler of Ray White Commercial Noosa & Sunshine Coast North.
John Petralia said when MakiMoto came to Noosa looking to set up a signature location, there was only one site that fitted their strict brief.
“6/32 Hastings St is located in the centre of the bustling street and next to the always busy Aromas Noosa,” he said.
“The tenancy has glass walls on three sides and an alfresco dining space surrounded by a vertical garden.”
John Petralia said it took approximately six months to finalise the lease due to the detailed plans that MakiMoto have for the high profile site.
“I had numerous site meetings with builders and engineers in order to piece together their concept and tie in the lease arrangement,” he said.
MakiMoto has taken out a seven-year lease at a net rental of $210,000 per annum.
