Decisive, Disciplined, Selective: Inside the 2026 Commercial Market
The market has surged into 2026 at a rapid pace. What is driving this strong start? And how sustainable is it? The key forces shaping the year ahead.
A rare opportunity has emerged to acquire one of the Sunshine Coast’s most iconic and strategically positioned retail swimwear businesses.
John Petralia of RWC Noosa & Sunshine Coast is proud to be selling the Noosa Swimwear Collective, comprising four thriving swim and resort wear retail locations across Noosa Heads, Coolum Beach and Noosaville.
The group includes:
Sea Elements, Shop 4, 30 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads
Sea Elements, Shop 4, 1806 David Low Way, Coolum Beach
Poolside Swimwear, Shop 3, 13 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads
Bikini Hut, T1043A, Noosa Civic Shopping Centre, Noosaville
Plus an office and storage space at Shop 6, upstairs 9-11 Hastings Street
With two stores located in the heart of iconic Hastings Street and a combined footprint of 280m²*, the business is offered as a going concern.
“This is more than just a retail business – it’s a legacy brand built over decades, backed by excellent supplier relationships, high-traffic locations, and a fully systemised operation,” said John Petralia.
“It would be incredibly difficult for a new entrant to replicate this footprint in Hastings Street, making this a unique and strategic acquisition.”
Generating an average annual turnover of approximately $3.65 million, the business operates smoothly with a well-trained team in place.
The owners, two sisters, have established a strong operational structure that allows them to step back, delegating day-to-day operations to trusted long-time staff.
“The current setup is the result of over 20 years of trial and refinement,” Mr Petralia said. “It’s a platform designed to adapt to retail trends while offering significant scope for expansion; be it new locations, brand extensions, or enhanced digital marketing.”
The business is poised for further growth under new ownership, with multiple pathway options including the addition of new Australian and international brands, own-label merchandise, pop-up activations, or the expansion of its online presence, which to date has grown purely organically.
“With fully staffed stores, decades-long brand equity, and proven performance in high-profile locations, this business is perfectly placed for a savvy investor or operator looking to capitalise on Noosa’s enduring retail strength and tourism appeal,” Mr Petralia said.
