Eumundi Village Retail Property Sold

A freestanding retail building in the heart of Eumundi village in the Sunshine Coast hinterland has been sold at auction by Ray White Commercial Noosa & Sunshine Coast North for $467,000.

The vacant property at 93 Memorial Drive, Eumundi, was sold to a local owner occupier business operator by Ray White Commercial Noosa & Sunshine Coast North’s Paul Butler and John Petralia on behalf of a local investor

Paul Butler said the marketing campaign for the 53 sqm building attracted 19 enquiries and there was a strong turnout for the onsite auction.

“We had eight registered bidders for the auction and six of them put in bids for the property, which is on the main street of Eumundi on a land area of 266 sqm and has potential to be developed (STCA),” he said.

“After almost 40 separate bids, the property was sold under the hammer to a local business operator who will be moving their existing Eumundi business to this site.”

John Petralia said the quaint freestanding retail property offered a great opportunity for an owner occupier or an investor.

“Properties of this size and location in the village are in high demand as business operators seek to leverage off the success of the highly popular Eumundi Markets,” he said.

Eumundi, which was established in 1890, is a rural service centre that supports a vibrant hinterland tourism industry
