Land Tax Increases Wreaking Havoc on the Sunshine Coast Commercial Market
Excessive land tax increases are placing additional pressure on Sunshine Coast investors, property owners and tenants in an already challenging economy.
The national RWC 2024 annual awards went off with a bang earlier this month and our team is thrilled to have won three top awards for performance.
Congratulations to Paul Butler and Paul Forrest for taking out the Transaction of the Year award along with Ray White Special Projects, for the sale of a 40ha beachfront site on Noosa’s North Shore.
The property was sold under the hammer for $16.2 million at an action-packed auction in May. Bidding started at $4 million and was called on the market at $7 million before skyrocketing to $16.2 million with heated bidding.
Zoned Rural Residential under the Noosa Plan 2020, the freehold property is accessed by a bitumen sealed road linking directly to the North Shore Ferry and has about 450m of absolute beach frontage.
Congratulations also goes to our entire team who were chosen as “Client’s Choice – Office” at the annual awards.
“Our team works diligently to ensure the satisfaction of our clients and this award is testament to how each individual contributes to our clients’ overall success. We are thrilled that our clients chose us as one of the top in the country,” said Paul Butler.
Finally, congratulations to Tracey Ryan for taking out the Clients’ Choice Award. Each year, three agents from across the entire Ray White Commercial Network are chosen based on client satisfaction. Not surprisingly, Tracey was one of these three!
